In questo film la bellezza sta nella regia di Kramer/Parolini : sempre teso a sottolineare tanto gli agguati comici quanto le acrobazie più violente, strizza l'occhio anche al combat-movie (di cui è maestro) con scene in cui la nitro che fa il suo dannatissimo dovere è protagonista al pari di Yul Brinner.

Poi, chi cerca minacce insulti e tradimenti spiccioli fra gente rude e senza scrupoli che si spara per un nonnulla, beh, benvenuti amigos, questo è il west all'italiana.

Punto zero (Vanishing point), è un film culto del 1971 diretto da Richard C. Sarafian (alla sua seconda regia dopo "Frammenti di paura" dell'anno prima).

Film ad altissima velocità, con inseguimenti rocamboleschi attraverso 4 stati americani, droga e una colonna sonora stupenda.

Protagonisti sono Kowalski e la sua vettura, una Dodge Challenger R/T bianca del 1970.

Nel 1997 i Primal scream realizzarono un album dall'omonimo titolo, contenente un brano intitolato "Kowalski".

Quentin Tarantino, nel film "Grindhouse-A prova di morte", fa spesso riferimento al film in questione e fa usare alle sue protagoniste la stessa macchina.
